The information shared by you will only be accessible and used by the HM matchmaking team to help find you a match in the future. If you however wish to have your information deleted after the event, look for the relevant checkbox on the registration form.

We do not permit anyone other than the candidate to be in the HM hall during the event.

How do we check-in upon arrival?
Upon arrival, you will need to see a volunteer on the registration desk and provide a photo ID for verification. After verification, you will receive a badge with a 3 digit ID on it.

Why is the badge and ID important?
The 3 digit number on your badge if your unique ID and the mechanism by which interested candidates request a meeting with you. You must have your badge on you at all times during the event and ensure the ID is visible to others.

What does the specific color on my badge represent?
Candidates are grouped according to their age groups. Each age group is assigned a specific color code and the badges will include the specific color code according to your age group.

After check-in, do I sit anywhere I want?
After receiving your badge, follow the color code and table number on the badge to locate your table. The matchmaking volunteers will guide you as needed.

What happens at the table?

– An introduction session will be conducted. Pay attention to the instructions provided.

– You will introduce yourself (name, occupation, city, and one interesting fact). If you’re uncomfortable, a volunteer can introduce you.

– Icebreaker activities will help you engage with others at your table.

Will I get to meet multiple candidates?
Yes. The event includes activities where candidates shuffle between tables and engage in brief one-on-one conversations with others.

How do I request a meeting with someone?
After the activities, you can request to meet up to three candidates by filling out a “match form”. It is essential to submit this form promptly to help organizers match you with other candidates.

What if no one has reached out to meet with me?
Inform the volunteer at your table if you haven’t been requested for a one-on-one meeting. Volunteers will assist in arranging a meeting.

How do I know if someone wants to meet me?
Matchmakers will reach out to you on the phone number you provided on the registration form.

What happens during one-on-one meetings?
Once both candidates confirm interest, they will be escorted to a meeting place with a chaperone. Meetings are timed, after which candidates return to the main room.
