Heavenly Match is a service by Muslim Congress for Muslims residing in North America who want to meet their prospective spouse. We offer a safe, secure and discreet environment where you can search for your marriage partner, communicate and Insha Allah find your soul mate. This is open to Muslims regardless of culture, community and sect.
We have followed industry standards in securing your data including SSL encryption and administrator supervision throughout the process. If you see any suspicious profiles, have messages that are inappropriate or that you find offensive, please contact HeavenlyMatch@MuslimCongress.org.
You need to register to take advantage of the Heavenly Match service. Registering requires you to give us a few personal details, your email address and agreement with our Terms & Conditions and Privacy Policy. You can start your search once your profile is approved.
You do not need to pay to use the free tier of our service. To be able to send match requests to other candidates and chat with them, you will need to upgrade to our premium tier and the cost to upgrade is a one-time US$ 50.00 fee.
Download the mobile app from iOS or Android play store. Follow the instructions to register for a new profile. Once you have completed the initial signup form, you will get an email at your specified email address, which you must follow the instructions in the email to confirm your email address and finish the registration process.
The profile page is a summary page about each of our members. It contains a combination of questions including space where you can describe yourself and questions, which have multiple-choice answers. It also contains gallery where candidates can upload their pictures. It also contains a section for preferences of candidates’ potential spouse.
After you confirm your email address, you will start building your profile using a step-by-step form. This includes creating your photo gallery and choosing a cover image for your profile. Once submitted, the profile will need to be approved by a heavenly match moderator.
On the app, click on ‘Forgot Password’. You can enter your email address and we will send you instructions to reset your password.
If you think someone has maliciously accessed your account, drop our administrators an email at HeavenlyMatch@MuslimCongress.org. You should also immediately reset your password to ensure the unauthorized access is taken away.
When you login, this will be the first tab you see. The home tab contains a list of candidates that match your filter criteria. You can also clear the filters to see the full list of candidates on the app.
Navigation tabs are at the bottom of the app: Home, Matches, Messages and Settings
You can see and edit your profile by going to the Settings tab and navigating to My Profile section.
The more information you provide, the better your chance to get a match. Profiles with photographs are more likely to be viewed by other members. You can post up to 6 photographs which can be shown to either all members of Heavenly Match or just those members you want to give access to AFTER the Administrator has approved them. You can do this by uploading a photo and clicking on Private. If someone wants to see your photo they can send you a request, and you can either give them permission to view all your private photos, or not!
Note: If your photo/video does not comply by our policies, the Administrator can deny your upload request. You will promptly be notified. Please ensure Islamic Attire for all your photo/video uploads.
Yes we do. Our administrators diligently check photos uploaded and make sure they comply with our Code Of Conduct.
You can communicate with other candidates using Messages. You can only message someone after the match request is accepted by the other candidate.
At all points on the site, you are able to tell our administrators about any offensive or suspected fraudulent profiles and any messages you receive that are in breach of our Code of Conduct. Just click on the Report Abuse button and give us as much information as you can. Our administrator will investigate and get in touch with you as needed. If necessary they will ban the reported user from the system. Rest assured that your information is kept confidential in case of any reported profile.
The app provides many filter criteria to find candidates that match your preferences.
Searching is easy! Click on the Home tab and you will be presented with lots of options. You can choose as many or as few of the search criteria, and you will be presented with results from our database.
We want all members of Heavenly Match to have a successful search and find their match, Insha’Allah. In order to keep the website halal, comfortable and safe, we ask you to abide by the Code of Conduct.
Our administrators screen profiles and photos, but they do not read any messages sent between members. If you see a profile that seems suspicious, receive Spam messages or messages in breach of the Code of Conduct, make sure you report it. Our administrators are always on hand to help!
If you have received communications from someone and have decided you really cannot bear to hear from them again, you can Block them. This is a virtual restraining order! They will not be able to communicate with you again.

If you are searching for your matches and you like the look of a profiles but you want to get in touch a little later, you can bookmark them. This list is just for your convenience and you can access it from the Matches tab, bookmark section. You can remove someone from your bookmarks at any time. The other member will not be notified when you add or remove them from your bookmarks.
You can deactivate your profile by requesting Heavenly Match administrators using the contact us form on the app or sending us an email on HeavenlyMatch@MuslimCongress.org. The deactivate feature allows you to temporarily pause your account and you can always resume it when you are ready to.
First, congratulations! If you met your spouse on Heavenly Match make sure you tell us about it. We would love to hear your story! To request permanent deletion of your account, you can reach out using the contact us form on the app or sending us an email on HeavenlyMatch@MuslimCongress.org.
We take your privacy very seriously. Please review our Privacy Policy for details.
You do not need to reveal your full identity to other candidates. Your profile will always be displayed to other candidates with what you choose as your “Display Name” during registration. Additionally, your contact details such as phone and email are only meant for our administrators and will NEVER be revealed to other candidates. If you want to share your details, we recommend you make sure that you start with email first. Please apply common sense and of course follow the Code of Conduct. Keep in mind that once the conversation leaves the boundaries of our app, we are unable to take any action for inappropriate behavior.
